Empire mahogany and ormolu writing desk - early 19th century circa 1820.

Refined Parisian production using luxury materials : flamed mahogany, ormolu (mercury gilt), Turquin blue marble, nice green leather on the desk not stamped, undoubtedly the work of a great cabinetmaker of that time.
