Mahogany mantel screen or fire screen, Jacob-style double baluster uprights. Empire style, Restoration period - early 19th century circa 1820.

Unstamped Parisian work attributed to Bellange : in his production we can find armchairs whose arms are made in a very similar spirit. Our fire screen was probably a part from a larger set and was split from its matching seats later on.

Excellent condition, no lack. Newly decorated in a plain taupe gray velvet, that we also used for several Empire seats in order to make matching sets.

Width : 62cm
Height : 91cm
Depth : 35.5cm
