18th century French school, portrait of a lady of the aristocracy, oil on canvas set into a much refined gold leaf gilt wood frame. Louis XVI period painting, circa 1780.
Our aristocrat wears a wig under a lace headdress and a beautiful green dress decorated with pink ribbons.
The woman is elegant, she has beautiful blue eyes. Nice portrait very well executed. Unsigned but beautifully made.
It is in excellent condition ; painting and frame were cleaned.
