18th century French School : large oil on canvas, allegory of summer picturing Ceres goddess of summer, agriculture, grain crops, fertility and motherly relationships.

Early 18th century painting - late Louis XIV period circa 1710.

Set into a rich gold leaf gilt wood frame (19th century).

Fine painting, the work of a great painter. It could be the style of Albert Stiemart, painter of the king.

The whole set is in excellent condition.
