Pair of Empire mahogany armchairs richely covered with rich a green and yellow silk (Tassinari & Chatel), early 19th century production signed Jacob Desmalter with the stamp used between 1803 and 1813. Each seat also bears a handwritten origin sticker showing "Monsieur Fin Chateau de G...au, Grand salon".
In excellent condition, fully restored (seat, mahogany varnish in a traditional way, and 100% silk fabric cover from Tassinari & Chatel).
