Late 18th century mahogany tripod pedestal table inlaid with ebony lines and brass diamonds. Beautiful and rare pink marble tray on top. The table rests on 3 patinated mahogany feet that looks like patinated bronze, a griffin head on the top part, lion claw on the bottom part.
Fine late 18th century production circa 1795 - 1900 in the fashionable so-called back from Egypt style.
Our piece of furniture is not stamped, but the lines, proportions and quality level makes us think about Molitor productions.
It has been fully restored with a traditional varnish, original marble : superb.
