That type of so-called a la grecque was invented by Oeben for the Marquise de Pompadour, made a real sucess and was copied by many talented cabinet makers such as Schlichtig.
Stamp of Jean Georges Schlichtig, famous parisian cabinet maker, master in 1765. He worked for the Queen Marie Antoinette.
