Beautiful rosewood marquetry chest of drawers / commode, rich ormolu ornamentation, thick grey marble on top. Opens with 3 drawers on the upper part, 2 drawers below. Parisian 18th century production circa 1780.

Very elegant piece of furniture, perfect proportions.

In excellent condition. Our cabinet maker has just renewed the varnish in a traditional way. Some of the ormolu parts and the marble on top are 19th century inputs, although beautifully crafted.

Traces of old restorations of use but no accident to report. Original marble.
