18th century French school - large oil on canvas showing a mediterranean seashore landscape.

Our painting is composed of a number of sewn canvas (18th century technique). It probably was a canvas set into a panelling once. It has been relined and set into a gold leaf gilt wood frame (presumably a 20th century layout).

In very good condition.
