Early 19th century French school, follower of Van Dael : flowers in a vase, oil on panel circa 1830 set into a superb Louis XVI style gold leaf gilt wood frame (late 19th century production circa 1880).
The painting is signed Van Daels in the right bottom corner : much accurate and faithful work after Jan-Frans Van Dael or from his workshop. The bouquet seems to be in relief and creates the impression that we can touch it. The vase transparency is also very well executed.
Jan-Frans Van Dael, later called Jean François Van Dael was borne in 1764 in Anvers and died in 1840 in Paris. He was specialised in still life painting.
In excellent condition.
