Pair of Consulate mahogany and ebony chairs - France circa 1800-1804 - attributed to Jacob Freres.

Our chairs are the simple configuration of a model delivered by Jacob Brothers in 1804 to the Castle of Fontainebleau (Cabinet of the Emperor and Chamber of the Emperor).

Beautiful model, very elegant and unusual.

Excellent condition, minor restorations. Our chairs have been fully restored, mahogany varnish made as new, new silk.
