Beautiful and luxury Louis XVI cabriolet armchair, finely carved Parisian work signed by Henri Jacob.

Luxury production ; the seat was originally made of gilt wood, and was painted later on (gray lacquer).

Henri Jacob, Master in 1779 is one of great 18th century seat makers. Cousin of Georges Jacob, he left beautiful seats, finely carved and perfectly executed ; he also became provider of the Royal family in 1785.

In excellent condition ; our seat is completely restored as new with a fine Tassinari & Chatel silk.
