Beautiful set of 8 dining chairs in lacquered wood. Elegant pattern, typical production of the 1790-1800's : carved back, sculpted palms announcing the Empire style. Our set is made of 6 18th century chairs + 2 identical chairs that were made later in the 19th century to complete the set. Copies are perfect: you have to have a look under the seat to see the belt below to make the difference. From the front, it is not possible to differentiate (see photo showing 2 chairs). Our chairs have an antique gray lacquer. They are in very good condition, the structure is solid structure. They are covered with a red velvet in good used condition. Some wear at the corners but the set looks still very good and easy to fit with any type of furniture.
