Exceptional set of 6 elegant lyre back chairs, 18th century production, under Louis XVI's reign. The 7th chair is offered (belongs to the same set : same chair maker, identical set of 7) This lyre-shaped back used to be a refinement symbol during 18th century. Our chairs were produced with outstanding quality standards. They are not stamped however some details remind some Jacob productions : much refined sculptures, sophisticated ribs, perfect proportions... They still have an antique paint on. The seat has just been completely restored with the quality standards the chairs deserve : - the seat is restored according to 18th century methods - it's covered with a gorgeous bleu / grey / silver silk from Tassinari et Chatel that perfectly fits the paint. It results in a splendid set of chairs, in perfect condition with normal restorations.
