Tall Paris porcelain statue of Virgin Mary laying the snake low (so-called Assumption Virgin Mary), polychromatic porcelain enhanced with fine gold, attributed to Jacob Petit, mid-19th century circa 1840.

In very good condition. Colors and gilt are bright with local wear. A non-obvious small lack on the snake.
