Pair of Paris porcelain large chocolate cups and their saucer enhanced with fine gold gilt palm leaves and threads. Late 18th century production circa 1790 - 1800, probably Locre Manufacture or similar manufacturing range, although there is no signature under the pieces.

Very large format, (the last picture shows a comparison with a regular coffee cup) designed for hot chocolate service, so-called litron shaped cups, even more sought after in this format. A contempory usage would consist in a two-person breakfast set.

In very good condition. Gilt is still fresh with slight local attenuations.

Cup height : 8.3cm
Cup diameter : 8.2cm
Saucer diameter : 15.2cm
