Empire mahogny game table / card table, rich gilt bronze (ormolu) decoration, French Restoration period - early 19th century.
Beautiful half-moon shaped model, five feet, rich ornamentation of chimeras, rosettes and Empire leaves.
Folded, it is an elegant half-moon console.
Unfolded, it offers a large felt playing area.
It is in excellent condition. The varnish was remade in a traditional way by our cabinetmaker. Gilt is very well preserved.
