Empire lemon tree console, ormolu decoration (finely chiseled bronze : palms, acanthus, Venus' chariot on the drawer), Turquin blue marble on top, early 19th century circa 1820.

Beautiful, much refined piece of furniture, typical from late Empire period, in excellent condition. The varnish has been renewed in a traditional way. The marble is not original, but from the same period and it perfectly matches the console.
