Louis XV Louis XVI Transition period marquetry chest of drawers / commode - France, 18th century circa 1770.
Typical Parisian work of years 1770, refined work veneered with satine (luxury version of mahogany), beautifule proportions, grey marble on top, beautiful chiseled bronze decoration, refined finish.
Interesting detail : there is a fake stamp of Pierre Denizot ; this is not a flaw : "counterfaiters" used to stamp their modt beautiful productions, not the rustic ones !
In very good condition. Varnished cleaned.
