Large Louis XVI mahogany and satine veneered chest of drawers / commode, chiseled ormolu ornamentation (asparagus and acanthus), grey marble on top. Late 18th century Parisian work circa 1790 - 1800, attributed to Etienne Avril, not stamped.

Very elegant model, perfect proportions.

In excellent condition. Varnish has been restored in a traditional way. Ormolu ornamentation has kept its original gilt, well perserved.
