Pair of imperial candlesticks - Louvre Palace (they bear a MF monogram - Finance ministry - with an imperial crown on top and inventory number #4634) - Louis XVI style. Finely chiseled ormolu model, Napoleon III period - second half of 19th century circa 1860.
Beautiful model, ideal to complete a 18th century decoration.
In good condition. Gilt is a little worn out.
