Large Empire chandelier, patinated bronze and ormolu - 12 lights - France circa 1810.
Beautiful pattern inspired by antique Roman lamps. Very rich decoration of matt and shiny gilt bronze (mercury gilt) : water leaves, palms, fruit garland, pine cone : decoration is rich, proportions are elegant, the finish is perfect : this is a beautiful chandelier.
Our chandelier is in excellent condition, gilt is extremely well preserved. It was fully restored : each piece removed and cleaned one by one, electrification revised. Superb condition. Only 3 leaves of the gilt crown are missing.
