Rare set of 4 Empire sterling silver candlesticks, early 19th century production.

French silver hallmark 2nd rooster in use between 1809 and 1819. Guarantee hallmark and silversmith Maurice-Joseph Evrard (orfèvre, Mons 1752-1830) stamp on the base.

Silverplate bronze candlesticks are quite common ; a set of 4 sterling silver candlesticks is a very rare thing to find.

Complete, in excellent condition with slight distorsion. Well polished.
