Large, fine Aubusson tapestry, wool and silk : Chinese garden with a pagoda surmounting a waterfall with parrots and other fantastic birds. That work is typical of French ornemanist Jean Baptiste Pillement. Louis XV period, 18th century circa 1750.

Beautiful large size piece, fresh colors. It is a must have to decorate French 18th century castles and mansions.

Beautiful polychromy, blue, green and red tones well preserved overall. Some wear and restorations. The tapestry is lined and equiped with hanger hooks.
