Large amaranth veneer jewelry box, brass inlay, retractable brass handle, green silk velvet inside, removable mirror with retractable support foot.
Beautiful mid-19th century luxury production circa 1840-50. Our box bears the signature of Aucoc Aîné house, rue Saint Honoré, 154 in Paris. In the middle of the lid there is a CA monogram with a crown of Marquis on top. It also has a clover shaped key, another notable sign of quality.
Our box has been restored, varnish cleaned, new silk velvet trim. Everything is in very good condition.
