Magnificent antique French sterling silver coffee and tea set, Louis XVI style : a coffee pot, a tea pot, a sugar pot and a milk jug.
This acanthus and laurels decorated pattern with a rose on top of the lids is very famous at Puiforcat. The design is perfect and the quality level is obviously a top-of-the-range one : harmonious shape, finely chiseled acanthus, laurels and ribbons.
There is no monogram or coat of arms engraved : you can engrave yours.
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard is stamped on each item. As expected, the set is a work by Puiforcat, most famous and talented French silversmith ; its mark is stamped on each item as well.
The whole set is in excellent condition : silver is shiny, no distortion. A tiny hollow on the sugar pot, and three slight depressions on the coffee pot (not very significant, really). Every piece still looks really great.
