French hallmark Minerva 1st standard stamped, and also Granvigne or Odiot mark on each piece. Granvigne, also famous French silversmith, was an official subcontractor chosen by Odiot.
Odiot is probably the greatest silversmith that France has ever had – even greater than Puiforcat. His founder Jean-Baptiste Gaspard Odiot, active under Louis XV reign was already one the most talented of his time. His very talented grandson Jean-Baptiste Claude Odiot also got prestigious orders from Napoleon, his family and most European Courts. Next heir Charles Nicolas Odiot was official provider to the French Crown under Louis-Philippe reign.
