Empire sterling silver oil and vinegar set ; rare, original and beautiful early 19th century model decorated with eagles, typical Empire symbol used after Napoleon's coronation in 1804.

It has various stamps :
- French hallmark rooster 1st title (in use from 1798 to 1809 for .950 purity silver)
- French silversmith association (in use at the end of 18th century onwards)
- silversmith Antoine Henri Dubois mark (active from 1798 onwards)

All this date our piece between 1804 and 1809.

Our set comes together with two Baccarat crystal bottles, an early 20th century production that fits our silver oil and vinegar set very well.

The whole set is in excellent condition : no bumps, no distorsion, no chip on the crystal bottles.
