Large sterling silver planter, Louis XVI style ; beautiful, refined model decorated with ribbons and flowers garlands, vermeil in the inside part, original glass.

Late 19th century production, large model (40cm long, 3,5kg including the glass) giving a strong decorative effet.

French hallmark Minerva 1st standard and silversmith Leontine Compere (Ernest Compere's widow, active circa 1890) mark stamped under the base.

In excellent condition, no accident, no distortion,vermeil is very fresh.
