Neo-classical style sepia Zuber panoramic wallpaper. This is the Italian Landscape model, a large Empire / Restoration style decor created in 1912.
In the center of the composition, an antique circular temple, tall trees and an Italian village on the left.
Created at the end of the 18th century, Zuber manufactory - Rixheim (near Mulhouse in Alsace) - is one of the last manually-operated wallpaper manufactories, with a specialty in panoramic wallpapers representing large rotating landscapes.
Our wallpaper is made of 8 rolls (50cm wide by 2.5m high) : 3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 out of the 10 available on the Zuber model. Each one completes the previous one to make a large circular decoration if necessary (N°10 completing N°1). As our wallpaper was never installed, you can choose to make a large panel (4m long) or two panels (2m wide).
The Italian landscape model is still published by Zuber, our is a vintage edition manufactured in the 1930-40's. It is new and never laid, with the patina of an antique model.
We sell the wallpaper in 8 rolls, but can also make it canvas doubled or placed in a frame (on request).
Very good condition, no tearing or staining on the drawing. NB the pictures were made outdoors in "Aerial view". The clear "spot" on the right is of course only a reflection of the sun. The last pictures come from the Zuber website.
