18th century French school, pastoral scene ; original gold leaf gilt wood frame. Follower of Jean-Baptiste Claudot, known as Claudot de Nancy (1733-1805). Louis XVI period - late 18th century.
Large painting, very decorative piece. It shows two shepherds with their cattle along a river.
Beautiful representation, bright colors, very fine faces. Ideal to complete a 18th century French atmosphere.
Excellent condition, both frame and canvas are original and well preserved. The whole set was cleaned by our restorer.
