19th century French school : mountain landscape picturing a chalet with a lot of picturesque characters, most probably located in Switzerland. Early 19th century oil on canvas circa 1830, set into its original Empire gold leaf gilt wood frame.
Signed A Lapito on the bottom right corner (Louis Auguste Lapito, 1803 - 1874).
