Miniature portrait King of France Louis XVIII, blue and white polychrome porcelain biscuit in the style of Wedgewood.

High quality porcelain and a S mark on the back suggest that this is a production of the Royal Manufacture of Sevres (which did not formally sign the biscuits in early 19th century). Restoration period circa 1820

Our miniature is presented in a blackened wooden frame.

Interesting royalist historical souvenir in excellent condition. Beautiful colors, it is a large size miniature.
