Charming Empire drawing showing a Capuchin monk reading a book in his vegetable garden, signed J Hoche and dated 1813.

The drawing is set into an Empire frame (early 19th century) gilt with gold leaf.

Nice, finely executed piece, ideal to complete a collection of drawings or an Empire / neo classical atmosphere.
