Beautiful, luxurious pair of cabriolet armchairs, 18th century circa 1775, Louis XVI period.

Medal-shaped backrest, much sought-after sculpture, perfect proportions : these are the work of Nicolas Delaisement, one of the great 18th century seat makers. He was also a sculptor, which makes his production a lot more refined.

One of the two pieces has Delaisement stamp.

Our armchairs are covered with a stunning rasberry pink Tassinari & Chatel silk decorated with flowers bouquets and garlands.

They are in excellent condition, with normal old restorations.
