Pair of refined so-called a la Reine lacquered armchairs - 18th century, Louis XV production ; chairs are stamped P Bara (Pierre Bara, Parisian seat maker, master in 1758).
In very good condition. They are covered with a lovely rasbery-coloured silk decorated with Louis XV style Chinese pictures.
Typical of the 18th century way of life in a Provencal taste.
