Pair of mahogany chairs, early 19th century Parisian fine production circa 1830 by Jeanselme (one of them is stamped), coming from La Rochefoucauld family at Château de Verteuil (one of them bears the castle mark), one of the oldest families in French aristocracy.

Very comfortable so-called gondola armchairs, removable horsehair seat covered with its original tapestry.

In very good condition. Varnish restored in a traditional way by our cabinetmaker.
