Pair of refined so-called a la Reine lacquered armchairs - 18th century, Louis XV production, stamped S Blanchard (Sylvain Nicolas Blanchard, Parisian seatmaker, master in 1743).

Typical of the 18th century way of life in a Provencal taste.

In very good condition. They are covered with a lovely rasbery-coloured silk decorated with Louis XV style Chinese patterns.
