Beautiful lacquered wood cabriolet armchair, richly sculpted decoration, high-end Louis XVI production - 18th century. Signed JB Boulard.
Jean Baptiste Boulard was one of the most talented seat maker in the 18th century, together with Jacob and Sene. He was provider of the Crown - seat maker of the King.
It has just been covered with a beautiful antique pink silk velvet that had never been used before.
In excellent condition, fully restored.
Note. The velvet seems to be red (winter weather color). It is actually pink !
