Late 18th century solid mahogany and mahogany veneer desk armchair decorated. So-called a l'etrusque armchair. French Directoire period circa 1790.

Our armchair is stamped G.IACOB for famous seat maker Georges Jacob.

In excellent condition. Old restorations. The varnish has been remade in a traditional way. Covered with a horsehair fabric, the most luxurious finish for this type of seat.
