Empire mahogany bergere, late 18th century or early 19th century circa 1800.

Beautiful model, typical of so-called back from Egypt style, refined work, probably the work of a great Parisian seatmaker such as Demay, but not stamped.

In perfect condition. Completely restored ; varnish has been made in the traditional way ; covered with a modern taupe grey velvet fabric.
