Porcelain biscuit bust of Marcus Junius Brutus, one of the main actors of Cesars's assassination (and his son) (tu quoque Filii !), set on its blue porcelain base enhanced with fine gold lines.

Sevres Manufacture, signed under the base, dated 1865 and gilt in 1867.

Beautiful 19th century production, ideal to complete a neoclassical interior decoration with a very unusual subject.
