Pair of tall Empire porcelain vases - early 19th century production circa 1830. Beautiful floral painting (each vase is unique), with an Empire style green and pink background and fine gold gilt.
A stylus signature under each vase, a C which is very likely to be the signature of Safronov Manufacture (Saphronov) in Moscow, Russia. Active between 1830 and 1840, Safronov Manufacture in Moscow is one of the most prestigious Russian porcelain manufactures, under Nicholas Ist's reign.
Our vases are a tall format, very decorative : ideal to complete a decoration on a piece of furniture or a mantel.
One of our vases is in excellent condition - very fresh gilding, outstandingly preserved. The second vase's base is damaged base. The whole set looks great with stunning colours and gilt.
Height : 35cm
