Empire Paris porcelain reticulated cup enhanced with fine gold, early 19th century production. Biscuit cartouches on the sides.
Considering the age and the high quality of this piece, it may be a production of Nast manufacture. Based in Paris, the Nast factory was created in 1784 and active until 1830. It supplied French high society and several European courts.
Very decorative piece, tall format compared to previous similar items we sold in the past, ideal to decorate a fireplace or a commode with candlesticks on either part, or to place as a centerpiece on a table.
Our cup is in good condition, gilt is a little attenuated. No accident.
