Louis XVI white marble and finely chiseled ormolu clock, late 18th century circa 1780.

It features Roman huntress goddess Diana in the taste of Falconet who way have designed it. The goddess is holding a bow and a woodcock. She has got a moon crescent in the hair, another classical attribute for Diana.

Beautiful lys-shaped chiseled hands.

Our clock is listed in much famous French clocks encyclopedia issued by Pierre Kjellberg.

In excellent condition, working perfectly, revised by our clockmaker.
