Empire patinated bronze and ormolu clock. Early 19th century period circa 1810.
The dial is signed Lesieur, Parisian clockmaker. The very refined mercury gilt bronze work (matte and shiny finish) is attributed to French bronze maker Thomire who often collaborated with Lesieur.
In very good condition. Gilt is beautiful, well preserved. It seems to work but a fine tuning will have to be planned by a clockmaker before installation.
