Tall 18th century decorative clock, finely chiseled ormolu, matt & shiny finish, Louis XVI period, by Beauvarlet (Louis Antoine Beauvarlet, great Parisian clock maker) and Osmond (Robert Osmond, great Parisian bronzemaker).
Very high-quality model of which a few were delivered to the French Royal family in Chateau de Versailles. The model remained very successful till late 19th century among greatest collectors.
Collector in excellent condition ; the clock has been revised ; original mercury gilt is fresh.
