Pair of Louis XVI style gilt bronze, marble and solid mahogany pedestal tables, beautiful tripod model after Weisweiler's 18th century productions. Late 19th century production or circa 1900, presumably from Maison Jansen.
Maison Jansen was founded in 1880. This great decorator has supplied royal and national palaces throughout the world since its inception and during the 20th century, promoting French taste.
Beautiful set, rare to find in pair and ideal to complete a neoclassical decoration. Fine quality production : the bronzes are finely chiseled with golden patina, the belt is made of solid mahogany and not mahogany veneer.
They are in very good condition ; the marbles are intact, the two pieces of furniture have been cleaned by our cabinetmaker.
