Spectacular French Regency Louis XV rosewood veneered commode / chest of drawers, 18th century circa 1740.
5 drawers, oak tree structure, thick red-brown marble, rich ormolu ornamentation.
Not stamped, but most probably the work great parisian cabinet maker. Our piece is spectacular and very large.
In good condition, superb piece of furniture. The old varnish was cleaned (old restorations). The marble is antique and matching the size and style but not the original one.
