Louis XV commode / chest of drawers circa 1760-1770 signed Leonard Boudin.
Beautiful rosewood and violet wood marquetry production, Rococo gilt bronze decoration, original breche d'Alep marble (normally used for top of the range productions).
It opens with two upper drawers and a lower drawer.
The line is elegant, the proportions are perfectly harmonious. This beautiful model carries, unsurprisingly, a famous stamp : Léonard Boudin, French cabinet maker during 18th century (Louis XV reign mainly), most famous and demanded signature.
Our piece of furniture is in excellent condition. Beautiful traditional varnish. Gilt slightly attenuated. Some chips under the marble edge.
